Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Ford Escape Hybrid?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 24.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 119 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.58% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $29,392 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Ford Escape Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $30,330 CAD sits slightly below last year's $32,466 CAD.

That softer pricing can be a mixed signal if you're thinking about future resale: it may help you buy at a more attractive entry point now, but it also suggests the market has already adjusted downward. If prices stabilise, a well-kept example could hold value better than a higher-priced purchase made earlier in the cycle. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Ford Escape Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 24.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.58% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the better primary pick if you want a well-liked used hybrid SUV with a meaningful amount of inventory and some pricing softness to work with. If you're especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby model years to see whether a lower entry price outweighs the 2023's stronger market position.
