Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Ford Escape Hybrid?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can be patient and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 37.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 117 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.15% compared with last year.

What is the 2023 Ford Escape Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $29,379 CAD sits slightly below last year's $32,698 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy in at a more favourable point, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays steady. For a seller, the current trend suggests you may need to price competitively to stand out. Strong owner satisfaction can still help support demand when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Ford Escape Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 37.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.15% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current pricing, owner satisfaction, and available inventory, the 2023 is the primary year to focus on. If you're especially price-sensitive, it can still be worth comparing nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the appeal of this year's market position.
