Is the 2023 Ford Escape Hybrid a good car?

That kind of feedback usually points to a vehicle that meets expectations well in everyday use, especially if you want a hybrid SUV with broad appeal. With 27.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop selectively.

For used buyers, that kind of owner feedback can reduce perceived ownership risk, especially when you pair it with a careful inspection and service-history review.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Ford Escape Hybrid?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to compare listings and wait for the right one.

• Deal availability: 27.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 113 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.62% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $29,389 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Ford Escape Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $29,997 CAD sits slightly below last year's $32,473 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests future sellers may need to be realistic if market conditions stay similar. If you buy at a competitive price now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later. Strong demand for well-rated used vehicles can help support resale, but the current trend still favours buyers more than sellers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Ford Escape Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 27.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.62% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current pricing, owner satisfaction, and available inventory, the 2023 is the year to focus on first. If you're especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby model years and use the current market softness to negotiate hard on any listing that sits above the low end of the range.
