• Deal availability: 25.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 328 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.22% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $24,923 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Dodge Hornet's resale value?

The current average of $24,923 CAD sits slightly below last year's $31,634 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Hornet has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help you as a buyer today. If you plan to sell later, the current market gives you a clearer benchmark for what shoppers are paying now. A well-kept example with strong equipment and clean history should still be easier to position if you buy at the right price.

Should I buy a 2023 Dodge Hornet or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 25.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.22% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $35,893 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $24,923 CAD average.
• It adds a four-cylinder or plug-in hybrid powertrain.

The 2023 is the better starting point if your priority is value and you want to keep your purchase price down. If you want the newer model year and are willing to pay more for updated powertrain choices, the 2024 is the alternative to compare.
