Used 2023 Dodge Durango for Sale nearWinnipeg, MB

How much does the 2023 Dodge Durango cost?

Prices have softened 10.87% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 421 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Dodge Durango a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Dodge Durango earns a 4.67/5 user rating and a 7.17/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

Owners consistently praise its styling, powerful performance, and spaciousness, and many also like the ride comfort and the V6’s fuel economy. On the other hand, some owners point to interior quality concerns, especially in the back seat, and depreciation after purchase.

For you, that means the Durango makes the most sense if you want a three-row SUV with a strong personality and real straight-line punch rather than a purely practical family hauler. The market also shows 35.4% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Dodge Durango reliable?

Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to a vehicle that can be counted on for strong performance, spaciousness, and a generally satisfying ownership experience. The expert assessment also highlights the Durango’s durable, long-running platform and its ability to keep delivering the kind of muscle-car character buyers expect from Dodge.

Dodge’s five-year, 100,000-kilometre powertrain warranty is a useful ownership cushion, especially if you’re considering one of the higher-output V8 versions. Even so, used buyers should still pay close attention to maintenance history and overall condition, since the Durango’s age and performance focus can make neglected examples more expensive to live with.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Dodge Durango?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base SXT is the most straightforward version, while the GT adds the larger touchscreen and wireless smartphone integration. Higher trims bring more luxury and performance content, with the Citadel adding Nappa leather, heated and ventilated front seats, and heated second-row captain’s chairs. The SRT 392 and SRT Hellcat stand apart with more aggressive styling and performance hardware, so you should decide early whether you want comfort, value, or maximum power.
• Powertrain: The 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 is standard on the SXT, GT, and Citadel, while the 5.7-litre Hemi V8 is standard on the R/T and optional on the Citadel. The SRT 392 uses a 6.4-litre naturally aspirated Hemi V8, and the SRT Hellcat uses a 6.2-litre supercharged V8. All versions use an eight-speed automatic, and all-wheel drive is standard in Canada.
• Safety package: Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert are standard on all trim levels. Forward collision warning is not standard, while lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency braking are also not standard. The SXT Plus grade adds automatic emergency braking and adaptive cruise control.
• Infotainment: Lower trims get an 8.4-inch touchscreen with wired Apple CarPlay, wired Android Auto, and Bluetooth. Starting with the GT, you get a 10.1-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto, plus the newer Uconnect 5 system.
• Fuel efficiency: The base V6 is rated at 13.0 L/100 km in the city, 9.4 on the highway, and 11.3 combined. The 5.7-litre V8 is rated at 16.7 city, 10.9 highway, and 14.1 combined, the 6.4-litre V8 at 18.3 city, 12.2 highway, and 15.6 combined, and the supercharged 6.2-litre Hellcat at 20.5 city, 13.8 highway, and 17.4 combined.

Which 2023 Dodge Durango trim should I buy?

The 2023 Dodge Durango is offered in 5 trim levels: SXT, GT, R/T, Citadel, SRT 392.

Here's the short version:

• SXT: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Durango’s core three-row layout, standard all-wheel drive, and the base V6. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the model and are comfortable with the simpler infotainment and equipment list.
• GT: This is the best-value choice for many shoppers because it adds the larger 10.1-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a more up-to-date infotainment experience. If you want the Durango’s style and space without jumping into V8 pricing, this is the trim to focus on.
• R/T: Choose this if you want the 5.7-litre Hemi V8 and the stronger performance character that comes with it. It suits buyers who care more about power and sound than fuel economy.
• Citadel: This is the comfort-leaning trim, with available luxury touches such as Nappa leather, heated and ventilated front seats, and heated second-row captain’s chairs. It’s the right pick if you want a more upscale family SUV and are willing to pay for it.
• SRT 392: This is the performance-focused choice, with the 6.4-litre Hemi V8 and the most aggressive hardware in this trim set. It’s for you if you want the Durango’s muscle-car personality in its most serious form.

Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert are standard across the lineup, but more advanced driver-assistance features are not broadly standard, so check each trim carefully before you buy.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Dodge Durango?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it pays to compare listings carefully and move quickly on well-priced examples.

• Deal availability: 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 421 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.87% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $42,526 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Dodge Durango's resale value?

The current average of $42,526 CAD sits slightly below last year's $47,715 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has softened, which can be good news if you’re buying now but less favourable if you’re planning to sell soon. A lower current average can also mean future resale upside is more limited unless the vehicle is especially well equipped or exceptionally clean.

For a seller, the key is to present a Durango that stands out on condition, equipment, and maintenance history. Strong owner satisfaction can help support demand, but the broader market still appears to be pricing this model year more cautiously than it did a year ago.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Dodge Durango safe?

The 2023 Dodge Durango received top "Good" marks in the original-format moderate front overlap and side tests, as well as the roof strength test, but it received a "Marginal" score in the driver-side small overlap front test. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave it a four-star overall safety rating, with five-star ratings in the side crash test, four-star ratings in the frontal crash test, and three-star rollover resistance ratings for AWD versions.

It earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert are standard on all trim levels. Forward collision warning is not standard, and lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency braking are also not standard, though the SXT Plus grade includes automatic emergency braking and adaptive cruise control.

The main caution here is that the Durango’s safety equipment is uneven for the class, so you should not assume a used example has the driver-assistance features you want unless you verify them on the specific vehicle.

Should I buy a 2023 Dodge Durango or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.87% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2023 model year adds standard heated front seats and a heated steering wheel in Canada, and it brings back the Durango SRT Hellcat as a regular production model.

The bottom line: If you want the Durango’s mix of three-row utility, V8 character, and updated Canadian equipment, the 2023 is a strong year to target. If your priority is value over performance, you may want to focus on lower-priced examples or a less powerful trim, since the Durango’s best features tend to live higher up the lineup.
