Used 2023 Chevrolet Traverse for Sale nearSt Catharines, ON

How much does the 2023 Chevrolet Traverse cost?

Prices have softened 14.04% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 158 listings available, which suggests a decent amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Traverse a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Chevrolet Traverse earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction.

Owners consistently praise its spacious interior, comfort, and pleasant driving experience. You also get a lot of room for families, plus a healthy list of features that make daily use easier. In practical terms, that fits especially well if you want a family-focused crossover with minivan-like usefulness without actually buying a minivan.

With 30.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Traverse reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that feels dependable in everyday use, with comfort and space that make it easy to live with over time. The review summary also suggests many owners count on it for family duties and appreciate how trouble-free it feels in regular ownership.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that reliability concerns have been part of the model’s reputation, so a careful pre-purchase inspection matters.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Chevrolet Traverse?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to compare listings carefully before committing.

• Deal availability: 30.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 158 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.04% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $37,321 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Chevrolet Traverse's resale value?

The current average of $37,321 CAD sits slightly below last year's $43,415 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the Traverse easier to buy now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you purchase near the current average, you may have less cushion than a buyer who entered the market before prices softened. On the other hand, a lower entry price can help protect your position if the vehicle holds its appeal with family shoppers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Chevrolet Traverse or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 30.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.04% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $33,973 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $37,321 CAD average.
• It offers a sensible, space-first family SUV with easy everyday usability.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $48,780 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $37,321 CAD average.
• It adds more space and a more distinctive, rugged design.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the best all-around path if you want strong owner satisfaction and a softer price than last year. If your priority is saving money, the 2022 is the better secondary path; if you want the newest design and more space, the 2024 is the upgrade to consider.
