Is the 2023 Cadillac XT4 reliable?

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Cadillac XT4?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and compare listings closely.

• Deal availability: 25.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 147 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.18% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $33,859 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Cadillac XT4's resale value?

The current average of $33,869 CAD sits slightly below last year's $38,564 CAD.

That softer pricing can be a plus if you’re buying now, but it also means a future seller may need to price competitively to stand out. If the market stays at this level, resale value should remain tied closely to condition, mileage, and equipment. Strongly maintained examples are likely to hold buyer interest better than average ones.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Cadillac XT4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 25.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.18% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2023 is a sensible choice if you want a used XT4 with proven owner satisfaction and a market that has eased from last year. If your priority is stretching your budget further, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of price, condition, and deal quality.
