Should I buy a 2023 BMW X3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.57% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $34,153 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $41,054 CAD average.
• It received a substantial refresh with more technology and safety features.

The bottom line: Choose the 2023 if you want the stronger all-around shopping environment and a premium compact SUV with sporty appeal. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2022 is the better value path and still gives you a polished, well-equipped X3 experience.
