Reviewed a 2022 Toyota C-HR on Nov 27, 2022
I love this car, it’s perfect for one person. Not a lot of trunk space and I would like more inside lighting in a few more places, otherwise it’s a good and fairly reliable vehicle, Toyota has never let me down in terms of the quality of their vehicles and their service people are top notch!!

How much does the 2022 Toyota C-HR cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $24,732 CAD |
| Year-Round Low | $24,492 CAD |
| Year-Round High | $27,073 CAD |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $26,905 CAD |
| Change vs. Last Year | −8.08% |
Prices have softened 8.08% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.
There are 79 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of choice in the used market.
Is the 2022 Toyota C-HR a good car?
Yes — the 2022 Toyota C-HR earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction.
With 25.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful chance of finding a competitively priced example.
Is the 2022 Toyota C-HR reliable?
Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
For used buyers, that kind of owner feedback suggests lower ownership risk if you choose a well-maintained example with a clean history.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Toyota C-HR?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the best-priced listings.
- Deal availability: 25.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 79 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 8.08% compared with last year.
If you find a listing below $24,492 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2022 Toyota C-HR's resale value?
The current average of $24,732 CAD sits slightly below last year's $26,905 CAD.
That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favourable point, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays under pressure. If you plan to sell later, buying well below the current average gives you more room to preserve value. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2022 Toyota C-HR or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2022 if:
- 25.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 8.08% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
The bottom line: The 2022 Toyota C-HR makes sense if you want a used example with strong owner satisfaction and a market that has eased from last year’s pricing. If you’re price-sensitive, keep an eye on listings near the lower end of the range and be ready to act when you see a well-priced one.
