Reviewed a 2022 Toyota C-HR on Nov 27, 2022
I love this car, it’s perfect for one person. Not a lot of trunk space and I would like more inside lighting in a few more places, otherwise it’s a good and fairly reliable vehicle, Toyota has never let me down in terms of the quality of their vehicles and their service people are top notch!!

How much does the 2022 Toyota C-HR cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $25,026 CAD |
| Year-Round Low | $24,496 CAD |
| Year-Round High | $27,076 CAD |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $26,748 CAD |
| Change vs. Last Year | −6.44% |
Prices have softened 6.44% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.
There are 78 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for shoppers comparing options.
Is the 2022 Toyota C-HR a good car?
Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction for this model year. That kind of feedback can be a useful sign if you want a used vehicle that has already earned positive marks from people living with it day to day.
With 16.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively while still finding competitive offers.
Is the 2022 Toyota C-HR reliable?
Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
For used buyers, that kind of owner feedback can reduce some of the uncertainty around long-term ownership risk, especially if the vehicle has been maintained well and checked carefully before purchase.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Toyota C-HR?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be patient without expecting every listing to be a standout deal.
- Deal availability: 16.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 78 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 6.44% compared with last year.
If you find a listing below $24,496 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2022 Toyota C-HR's resale value?
The current average of $25,026 CAD sits slightly below last year's $26,748 CAD.
That softer pricing can be helpful if you're buying now, but it also means a future seller may need to price carefully to stay competitive. If the market continues to favour shoppers, resale values may remain under some pressure in the near term. Even so, a vehicle that already has strong owner satisfaction can still attract steady interest when it comes time to sell.
Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2022 Toyota C-HR or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2022 if:
- 16.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 6.44% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current pricing, owner satisfaction, and available inventory, the 2022 is the primary year to focus on. If you're especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby model years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the benefits of shopping this one.
