Reviewed a 2022 Toyota C-HR on Nov 27, 2022
I love this car, it’s perfect for one person. Not a lot of trunk space and I would like more inside lighting in a few more places, otherwise it’s a good and fairly reliable vehicle, Toyota has never let me down in terms of the quality of their vehicles and their service people are top notch!!

2022 Toyota C-HR Price Trends
CarGurus tracks the prices of millions of used car listings every year. See how the average price of 2022 Toyota C-HR prices has changed over time.
See more price trendsHow much does the 2022 Toyota C-HR cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $24,766 CAD |
| Year-Round Low | $24,497 CAD |
| Year-Round High | $27,068 CAD |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $26,604 CAD |
| Change vs. Last Year | −6.91% |
Prices have softened 6.91% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.
There are 85 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of choice in the used market.
Is the 2022 Toyota C-HR a good car?
Yes — the 5/5 user rating suggests strong owner satisfaction for this model year. That kind of feedback can be a useful sign if you want a used vehicle that has pleased previous owners. With 25.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to compare options before you commit.
Is the 2022 Toyota C-HR reliable?
Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
For used buyers, that kind of owner feedback can help reduce the risk of unpleasant surprises, especially if you pair it with a careful inspection and service-history review.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Toyota C-HR?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be patient and focus on the best-priced examples.
- Deal availability: 25.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 85 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 6.91% compared with last year.
If you find a listing below $24,497 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2022 Toyota C-HR's resale value?
The current average of $24,766 CAD sits slightly below last year's $26,604 CAD.
That softer pricing can be helpful if you're buying now, but it also means a future seller may need to price competitively to stand out. If the market stays at this level, resale value will likely depend more on condition, mileage, and maintenance history than on broad price momentum. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2022 Toyota C-HR or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2022 if:
- 25.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 6.91% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
The bottom line:
If you want the strongest mix of current pricing and owner satisfaction, the 2022 is a sensible place to start. You should focus on well-priced examples with clean history and good condition, since that gives you the best chance of getting value in a market that is still offering some negotiation room. If you're especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby model years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2022's current market position.
