The 2022 Genesis G80 is a midsize luxury sedan with a 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine or 3.5-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine and eight-speed automatic transmission. In Canada, it comes with standard all-wheel drive (AWD), while rear-wheel drive (RWD) is not offered.

Pricing starts at $67,500 for a base 2.5T Advanced model. In Canada, Genesis is sold with no-haggle, all-in pricing and includes destination charges, at-home test drive and delivery service, and five years of scheduled maintenance. Natural Resources Canada fuel consumption ratings for four-cylinder models are 10.8 litres per 100 kilometres in the city, 7.9 on the highway, and 9.5 combined. V6 models are rated at 14.8 L/100 km city/9.9 hwy/12.6 combined.
