Should I buy a 2022 BMW X7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 23.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.36% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $73,122 CAD, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $62,581 CAD average.
• It adds a refreshed front end and the latest iDrive system.

The bottom line:
The 2022 is the better value if you want the X7’s luxury, space, and strong owner approval without paying the newer-model premium. If you care most about updated styling and the latest infotainment, the 2023 is worth a look, but price-sensitive buyers should start with the 2022.
