Great car! Just the right size as a small SUV. Sits higher and the backs seat has more room than I expected. Love the sleek, sporty design. Lots of technology features. The only thing I would have added is heated seats.

Its a great car. Im not into cars made by non American companies , however this car has been Nothing but fun to drive. Great gas mileage, I love the interior, so many modern features. And on top of that a great looking car. Would definitely recommend it to anyone. Its not intended for large families as it is a compact suv. But for me it couldnt be better

How much does the 2021 Toyota C-HR cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $23,701 CAD |
| Year-Round Low | $23,355 CAD |
| Year-Round High | $25,936 CAD |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $25,919 CAD |
| Change vs. Last Year | −8.56% |
Prices have softened 8.56% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.
There are 107 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of inventory to compare before you buy.
Is the 2021 Toyota C-HR a good car?
Yes — owners rate it 4.8/5, which points to strong overall satisfaction. Reviewers consistently praise its stylish design, fuel efficiency, modern technology features, and comfortable interior. The main trade-offs mentioned are the lack of heated seats, a sunroof, and remote start. With 25.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop carefully.
Is the 2021 Toyota C-HR reliable?
Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
The review summary points to a vehicle that many owners feel good about living with over time, especially because they describe it as efficient, comfortable, and enjoyable to own. That kind of feedback suggests you can count on it for everyday use if the specific example you choose has been maintained properly. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about broad owner dissatisfaction and more about finding a well-kept example that avoids the feature compromises some drivers noticed.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Toyota C-HR?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.
- Deal availability: 25.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 107 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 8.56% compared with last year.
If you find a listing below $23,355 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2021 Toyota C-HR's resale value?
The current average of $23,701 CAD sits slightly below last year's $25,919 CAD.
That softer pricing can be helpful if you're buying now, but it also means a future seller may need to price competitively to stand out. The current market suggests the model has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help stabilise resale expectations if demand stays steady. Strong owner satisfaction can also support future buyer interest when it's time to sell.
Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2021 Toyota C-HR or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2021 if:
- 25.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 8.56% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of owner satisfaction and current market value, the 2021 is a sensible year to target. If your priority is stretching your budget further, you can also compare nearby years and focus on the best-priced examples rather than the newest one.
