The current average of $48,259 CAD sits slightly below last year's $53,777 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Macan more attractive to buyers now but may temper near-term resale gains for current owners. If you buy at today’s average, your future resale value will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle is equipped.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Porsche Macan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.26% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $53,543 CAD, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $48,259 CAD average.
• It adds updates that keep the SUV feeling fresher and more up to date.

The bottom line: Choose the 2021 if you want the better value and are focused on getting Porsche character for less. Consider the 2022 if you’re willing to pay more for a newer, fresher version; price-sensitive buyers should start with the 2021 and target the best-priced listings first.
