The current average of $47,803 CAD sits slightly below last year's $54,874 CAD.

That softer pricing can be helpful if you are buying now, but it also means a future seller may need to be realistic about expectations if the market stays competitive. The Macan’s premium badge and strong driving appeal should help support demand, especially among shoppers who value a sporty compact SUV with a luxury feel. Even so, resale strength will depend on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Porsche Macan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 38.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.89% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $53,565 CAD, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $47,803 CAD average.
• It adds fresh updates and a more current feel.

The bottom line: Choose the 2021 if you want the better value and are happy with the Macan’s core strengths. If you are willing to spend more for a newer version with updates, the 2022 is the better secondary path; if price matters most, the 2021 is the smarter buy.
