Should I buy a 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLB or consider a different year?

Choose the 2021 if:

• 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.38% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It stands out for its optional third row and flexible five-to-seven-passenger layout.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $32,938 CAD, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $29,139 CAD average.
• It is designed to maximise utility in a boxier, more practical package.

The bottom line: If you want the better value proposition, the 2021 is the smarter starting point because it combines a lower average price with strong satisfaction and the GLB’s key family-friendly advantage. If you’re willing to pay more for a newer model year, the 2022 is worth a look, but price-sensitive buyers should focus on the 2021 first.
