How much does the 2021 Mazda CX-3 cost?

Prices have softened 12.55% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 86 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2021 Mazda CX-3 a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction, and the CX-3’s style-and-driving-enjoyment focus makes it appealing if you want a premium-feeling small SUV rather than a sedan or hatchback. Its compact footprint and refined road manners suit you well if you value a small crossover that feels more upscale than many rivals. 37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2021 Mazda CX-3 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The CX-3’s strong safety reputation and driver-assist feature set support confidence in used ownership, especially if you want a small crossover with a polished feel. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the vehicle’s character and more about whether its compact size and limited practicality still fit your needs over time.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Mazda CX-3?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 86 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.55% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $19,879 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Mazda CX-3's resale value?

The current average of $20,275 CAD sits slightly below last year's $23,184 CAD.

That softer pricing can work in your favour if you buy now, but it also means a future seller may need to price competitively to stand out. If the market stays steady, the current discount could help support demand from value-focused shoppers. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Mazda CX-3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.55% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current value and owner satisfaction, the 2021 is the one to focus on. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years and prioritise whichever listing gives you the best condition and equipment for the money.
