How much does the 2021 Chevrolet Traverse cost?

Prices have softened 8.96% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 95 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of choice in the used market.

Is the 2021 Chevrolet Traverse a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2021 Chevrolet Traverse. Owners consistently praise its spacious interior, excellent driving experience, and strong value for money, while also noting the power it delivers. That lines up well with its family-focused role, especially if you want a roomy crossover with a usable third row and easy day-to-day usability. With 33.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2021 Chevrolet Traverse reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to a vehicle that feels dependable in everyday use, with satisfaction tied to its spacious cabin, value, and overall ease of living with it. The main caution is that its reliability record is not class-leading, so you should still pay close attention to maintenance history and condition when shopping used. For long-term ownership, that means the safest buys are the best-documented examples with clean service records.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Chevrolet Traverse?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can afford to compare listings carefully before committing.

• Deal availability: 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 95 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.96% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $29,536 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Chevrolet Traverse's resale value?

The current average of $30,004 CAD sits slightly below last year's $32,959 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may face a more competitive resale environment than owners did a year ago. If you buy well now, you may have less downside risk than someone who purchased when prices were higher. Strong demand for roomy family SUVs can help support values, especially when the vehicle is well kept and priced realistically.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Chevrolet Traverse or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.96% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $33,482 CAD, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $30,004 CAD average.
• It is positioned as the better choice if you want a three-row SUV instead of moving up to a larger full-size SUV.

The bottom line: The 2021 is the better pick if you want the strongest value and a wide pool of used listings to compare. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2021 makes especially good sense because it combines a lower average price with solid owner satisfaction. Consider the 2022 only if you are willing to pay more for a newer-year alternative and its broader three-row SUV positioning.
