Used 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander for Sale nearEdmonton, AB

How much does the 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander cost?

Prices have softened 19.26% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 73 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner approval. It stands out in the compact SUV class for offering third-row seating, giving you extra passenger flexibility when you need it. It also appeals if you want a used Mitsubishi SUV that typically costs less than comparable Honda CR-V or Toyota RAV4 models on the used market. The market shows 24.7% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2020 Outlander’s overview points to strong safety results from both NHTSA and IIHS, which is reassuring if you want a used SUV with a solid safety profile. Its final-year status for the third generation also means you’re looking at a mature design with established strengths and compromises. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the model has historically depreciated faster than rivals, so resale value may be softer than you’d like.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 24.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 73 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.26% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $17,653 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander's resale value?

The current average of $17,847 CAD sits slightly below last year's $22,103 CAD.

That drop suggests the Outlander is still a value-oriented buy on the used market, but it also means future sellers may face more depreciation pressure than owners of some rivals. If you buy at the right price, you may be able to limit some of that downside. The model’s lower entry cost can help keep demand steady among shoppers who prioritise affordability and practicality.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 24.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.26% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version of this generation with a lower used price and you value third-row seating, the 2020 is the primary path to consider. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby older year may be worth a look, especially if you can find a cleaner example at a lower asking price.
