Is the 2020 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross a good car?

Is the 2020 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross reliable?

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross?

It is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to be patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 62 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.15% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $18,014 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross's resale value?

The current average of $18,014 CAD sits slightly below last year's $20,049 CAD.

That softer pricing can be a mixed signal for future resale: it may help you buy at a more attractive entry point now, but it also means the market has already adjusted downward. If prices remain stable from here, a well-kept example could hold its value more predictably than one bought at the top of the range. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.15% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2020 makes sense if you want a used Eclipse Cross with solid owner feedback and a market that has become more favourable on price. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby model years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, mileage, and asking price.
