Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Land Rover Range Rover Velar?

This is a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you have room to compare listings and wait for the right example.

• Inventory: There are 77 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 22.46% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $31,956 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Land Rover Range Rover Velar's resale value?

The current average of $31,956 CAD sits slightly below last year's $41,213 CAD.

That price movement suggests the model has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future buyers but may limit upside for a seller in the near term. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you may be better positioned when it comes time to resell. The current market also shows enough demand to support a stable used value, especially for well-kept examples.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Land Rover Range Rover Velar or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 22.46% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of value and owner satisfaction, the 2020 is the year to focus on. If your priority is stretching your budget further, you may also want to compare nearby model years and look closely at the lowest-priced listings, especially those that fall below the current average.
