This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and compare listings carefully.

What is the 2020 Land Rover Range Rover Velar's resale value?

The current average of $31,222 CAD sits slightly below last year's $39,670 CAD.

That price movement suggests the model has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can be helpful if you’re buying now but may limit upside if you plan to sell soon. For a future seller, the current market indicates you’ll want to focus on condition, mileage, and service history to protect value. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Land Rover Range Rover Velar or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.29% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2020 is a sensible choice if you want a well-liked example with a softer used-market price and enough inventory to compare options. If you’re especially price-sensitive, it’s worth cross-shopping nearby model years to see whether a lower asking price or a better-equipped listing gives you more value for your budget.
