What is the 2020 Ford Escape Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $19,542 CAD sits slightly below last year's $24,666 CAD.

That price movement suggests the model has become more affordable for buyers, which can make it a tougher sell for future owners trying to maximise resale. If you buy at the right price now, you may have less downside than someone who paid closer to last year’s average. Strong demand for efficient hybrids can still help support values, especially when the vehicle is well kept.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Ford Escape Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 26.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.78% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2020 is a sensible choice if you want a used hybrid with strong owner approval and a softer price than last year. If your priority is stretching your budget further, keep an eye out for the best-priced listings and move quickly when one lands near the low end of the range.
