For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the concept and more about finding one that has been maintained properly, since age and fleet use can matter on a model like this.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Dodge Grand Caravan?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be patient and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 30.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 406 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.53% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $20,099 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Dodge Grand Caravan's resale value?

The current average of $20,099 CAD sits slightly below last year's $24,371 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the model easier to buy now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you purchase at a strong price, you reduce the risk of taking a bigger depreciation hit later. The Grand Caravan’s value proposition still helps it stay relevant with shoppers who want a practical minivan at a lower entry point.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Dodge Grand Caravan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 30.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.53% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of value, space, and current market pricing, the 2020 is the sensible choice. If your priority is simply the lowest possible purchase price, a nearby year may be worth a look, but the 2020 gives you a good balance of affordability and owner approval.
