Used 2019 Volkswagen Atlas for Sale nearVancouver, BC

How much does the 2019 Volkswagen Atlas cost?

Prices have softened 26.24% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 187 listings available, which suggests a reasonable amount of inventory for shoppers comparing prices.

Is the 2019 Volkswagen Atlas a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Volkswagen Atlas earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner approval for a three-row SUV in this class. Its appeal is built around a vast interior, a straightforward layout, and refined driving dynamics, so it makes the most sense if you want family-friendly space and a clean, practical cabin. Standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus the roomy second and third rows, make it especially useful for everyday use and longer trips. With 27.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Volkswagen Atlas reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Atlas is described as having slightly below-average reliability compared with some rivals, and out-of-warranty repair costs can be high. Early models also had transmission and electrical issues, so a full service history and confirmation of completed recall or warranty work matter a lot when you shop used.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Volkswagen Atlas?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to compare listings carefully before committing.

• Deal availability: 27.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 187 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 26.24% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $21,461 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Volkswagen Atlas's resale value?

The current average of $21,465 CAD sits slightly below last year's $29,100 CAD.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favourable entry point today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend more heavily on condition, mileage, and service records than on broad market momentum. Well-kept examples should still attract family buyers because the Atlas’s space and practicality remain its core strengths.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Volkswagen Atlas or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 27.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 26.24% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 Atlas is a strong pick if you want a spacious, practical three-row SUV with a polished feel and you value shopping in a softer market. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby model years and focus on the cleanest, best-documented example rather than chasing the lowest sticker alone.
