Used 2019 Volkswagen Atlas for Sale nearPeterborough, ON

How much does the 2019 Volkswagen Atlas cost?

Prices have softened 26.26% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 195 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2019 Volkswagen Atlas a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Volkswagen Atlas earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which lines up with its appeal as a three-row midsize SUV built around space, a straightforward layout, and a family-friendly, practical cabin. If you want a polished road feel without giving up room for passengers and cargo, its roomy second and third rows, useful storage, and standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto make it a strong fit. In Canada, standard autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian assist and a heated windshield add to its everyday usefulness. The market also shows 34.4% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there are worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2019 Volkswagen Atlas reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2019 Atlas does have some caution flags, including slightly below-average reliability scores compared with some rivals and the possibility of higher out-of-warranty repair costs. Early-model transmission and electrical issues, along with premature wear on some components, mean a careful inspection and full service history are especially important. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is ending up with a vehicle that has been poorly maintained or already showing signs of those known problem areas.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Volkswagen Atlas?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find value if you compare listings closely.

• Deal availability: 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 195 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 26.26% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $20,809 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Volkswagen Atlas's resale value?

The current average of $20,809 CAD sits slightly below last year's $28,218 CAD.

That price drop suggests the Atlas has become more accessible for used buyers, but it also means future sellers may face a softer market than owners saw a year ago. If you buy at today’s average or below, you may have less room for appreciation, so condition and maintenance history matter more when you think about eventual resale. A clean, well-documented example should still be easier to move later than one with visible wear or incomplete service records.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Volkswagen Atlas or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 26.26% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 Atlas makes the most sense if you want a spacious, practical three-row SUV with a strong value story and you’re comfortable shopping carefully for condition and service history. If you’re price-sensitive, this year is especially worth considering because the market has softened and there are still meaningful deal opportunities.
