Is the 2019 Toyota Yaris a good car?

For used buyers, that points to lower perceived ownership risk, especially if you verify maintenance history and overall condition before committing.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Toyota Yaris?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 27.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 54 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.90% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $16,898 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Toyota Yaris's resale value?

The current average of $17,175 CAD sits slightly below last year's $19,275 CAD.

That softer pricing can make the car easier to buy now, but it also means a future seller may need to price competitively to stand out. If the market stays at this level, resale value will likely depend more on condition, mileage, and service records than on broad price momentum. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Toyota Yaris or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 27.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.90% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current pricing and owner satisfaction, the 2019 is the primary year to focus on. If you're especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby years to see whether a lower average price outweighs the 2019's current market position.
