Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Toyota Camry?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly on the best-priced examples.

• Deal availability: 23.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 134 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.82% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $20,477 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Toyota Camry's resale value?

The current average of $21,424 CAD sits slightly below last year's $23,497 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests future sellers may not see the same near-term upside they would in a tighter market. If you buy now, the lower entry price can help offset some depreciation risk, especially if you choose a well-equipped example that stands out from the rest of the listings. The current market also suggests buyers are still willing to pay for the Camry’s reputation and feature set, which should help support demand later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Toyota Camry or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 23.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.82% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $24,040 CAD, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $21,424 CAD average.
• It adds all-wheel drive and a sportier TRD option.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2019 if you want the better value and are comfortable shopping the used market for a well-priced example. If you’re willing to pay more for the newer year’s added traction and sportier appeal, the 2020 is the stronger upgrade; otherwise, the 2019 is the smarter pick for price-sensitive buyers.
