Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Nissan Kicks?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 258 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.67% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $14,240 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Nissan Kicks's resale value?

The current average of $14,240 CAD sits slightly below last year's $17,088 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make resale values a bit softer for current owners. If you plan to sell later, you may want to keep the vehicle in strong cosmetic and mechanical condition so it stands out in a value-driven segment. Because the model is positioned around affordability and efficiency, future buyers are likely to remain price-sensitive, which can help well-kept examples hold attention.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Nissan Kicks or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.67% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a value-focused small SUV with strong fuel economy and a practical feature set, the 2019 is a sensible place to start. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a similar Kicks offers a better deal, but the 2019 already looks attractive if you find one priced near the lower end of the range.
