Yes — the 2019 Honda Passport earns a 4.83/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its spacious interior, great features, and smooth performance, and the comfort and fuel economy also come up often in reviews. That lines up well with its role as a practical two-row SUV for you if you want more space and capability than a compact crossover without moving up to a three-row model. Is the 2019 Honda Passport reliable?

Owners rate it 4.83/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Review feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with drivers repeatedly highlighting the Passport’s smooth performance and overall comfort. The strong owner sentiment suggests you can count on it as a long-term used buy, especially if you choose a well-maintained example. For used buyers, the main ownership risk is less about the model’s reputation and more about the condition and maintenance history of the specific vehicle you’re considering.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Honda Passport?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 27.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 54 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.49% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $25,512 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Honda Passport's resale value?

The current average of $25,650 CAD sits slightly below last year's $30,351 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Passport has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can be helpful if you’re buying now and thinking ahead to resale. If you later sell, the fact that the market has settled lower may limit further downside compared with a vehicle that is still dropping quickly. Strong owner satisfaction can also help support demand when it’s time to list your vehicle.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.83/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Honda Passport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 27.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.49% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.83/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the Passport’s roomy cabin, smooth performance, and strong value story, the 2019 is a solid place to start. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby model years to see whether a newer example offers a better mix of mileage, condition, and asking price for your budget.
