Is the 2019 Honda Passport a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Honda Passport earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Is the 2019 Honda Passport reliable?

The user feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with drivers highlighting the Passport’s smooth performance and comfort over time. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the model’s reputation and more about finding a well-kept example with a clean service history.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Honda Passport?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to compare listings carefully rather than rush.

• Deal availability: 28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 56 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.80% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $25,430 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Honda Passport's resale value?

The current average of $25,677 CAD sits slightly below last year's $30,138 CAD.

That softer pricing can be good news if you're buying now, but it also means a future seller may face a more competitive market if values stay under pressure. The current range suggests the Passport is still holding a meaningful used-market position, especially for shoppers who value its space and comfort. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Honda Passport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.80% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 is a strong choice if you want a roomy, comfortable two-row SUV with solid owner approval and a market that still offers some deal opportunities. If your priority is simply the lowest possible purchase price, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, but the 2019 remains the better all-around pick for many used buyers.
