Is the 2019 Dodge Durango a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Dodge Durango earns a 4.9/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its spacious interior, powerful performance, and family-friendly features, while also appreciating its stylish design and smooth driving experience. For you, that means it fits especially well if you want a three-row SUV with room for passengers and a more muscular personality than many rivals. Is the 2019 Dodge Durango reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Dodge Durango?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 25.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 119 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.04% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $23,029 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Dodge Durango's resale value?

The current average of $24,359 CAD sits slightly below last year's $28,336 CAD.

That decline suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price more competitively to stand out. If you buy now, the softer pricing could help limit your upfront cost, though resale gains may be more modest if the market stays under pressure. Strong demand for a roomy, well-liked three-row SUV can still support values better than average.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Dodge Durango or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 25.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.04% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $28,162 CAD, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $24,359 CAD average.
• It adds a more muscle-car-like presentation and keeps the three-row, family-hauling formula.

The bottom line:
You should start with the 2019 if value matters most, because the current pricing is softer and the deal share is decent. If you want a newer-feeling alternative and are willing to pay more, the 2020 is the better secondary path.
