Is the 2019 Acura RDX a good car?

Generally — the 4.42/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the stylish design, comfort, and performance, and many also like the powerful turbo engine, the smooth and quiet ride, and the rich interior amenities. For you, that makes the 2019 RDX a compelling choice if you want a compact luxury SUV with sporty character, practical space, and a well-equipped cabin. Is the 2019 Acura RDX reliable?

Owners rate it 4.42/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many drivers, especially over the long term. That said, the infotainment system is a recurring frustration, so your day-to-day satisfaction may depend on how much you value easy-to-use technology. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is more about living with the interface and feature content than worrying about broad reliability concerns.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Acura RDX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly on strong examples.

• Deal availability: 27.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 168 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.91% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $27,824 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Acura RDX's resale value?

The current average of $27,824 CAD sits slightly below last year's $29,261 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy more confidently now, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, the current trend suggests you should focus on a well-kept example with strong equipment and clean history. The model’s broad appeal and owner satisfaction should still help support demand when it is time to move on.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.42/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Acura RDX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 27.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.91% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.42/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $30,078 CAD, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $27,824 CAD average.
• It adds more content at a lower price than some rivals.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2019 if you want the better value and are comfortable with its infotainment quirks. If you are price-sensitive, the 2019 is the smarter buy; if you want to spend more for a newer model-year alternative, the 2020 is the next step up.
