This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

What is the 2018 Toyota Sienna's resale value?

The current average of $27,268 CAD sits slightly below last year's $31,985 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Sienna more attractive to you as a buyer today. For a future seller, it means resale expectations should be grounded in the current softer pricing environment rather than last year’s higher benchmark. Even so, a well-kept example with strong demand from family buyers should still hold appeal.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Toyota Sienna or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.75% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a practical, family-focused minivan with strong owner approval and a softer used-market price, the 2018 is a sensible place to start. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby years to see whether a lower-priced alternative gives you similar space and utility for less money.
