This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you know what you want.

• Deal availability: 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 198 listings available.

What is the 2018 Porsche Macan's resale value?

The current average of $28,982 CAD sits slightly below last year's $34,394 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favourable point if you plan to keep the vehicle for a while. For a future seller, it also means there may be less room for appreciation unless demand strengthens. Even so, the Macan’s premium image and strong owner satisfaction can help support buyer interest when it comes time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Porsche Macan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.74% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 Macan makes the most sense if you want the classic pre-update formula with strong owner approval and a market that still offers some deal potential. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2018 remains a compelling choice when you value the Macan’s driving character and premium feel.
