This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to compare listings and wait for the right one.

• Deal availability: 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 150 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.51% compared with last year.

What is the 2018 Nissan Kicks's resale value?

The current average of $13,943 CAD sits slightly below last year's $15,937 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Kicks easier to buy now but may also limit near-term upside for a future seller. If you plan to resell later, the current pricing trend implies you should focus on buying well so you have less depreciation to absorb. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Nissan Kicks or consider a different year?
