Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 140 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.80% compared with last year.

What is the 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA's resale value?

The current average of $18,186 CAD sits slightly below last year's $21,097 CAD.

That price movement suggests the model has become more accessible for buyers, which can make it a tougher sell for future owners trying to command top dollar. If you plan to resell later, you should expect pricing pressure to remain tied to broader market conditions and how well the vehicle has been maintained. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.80% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 is a sensible choice if you want a compact luxury SUV with strong owner approval and a softer used-market price. If your priority is stretching your budget further, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the listings with the best deal ratings first.
