This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 140 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.99% compared with last year.

What is the 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA's resale value?

The current average of $18,129 CAD sits slightly below last year's $21,078 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has become more buyer-friendly, which can make future resale a little more challenging if values continue to ease. If you buy now, your eventual resale outcome will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle is equipped. A lower entry price can help offset some depreciation risk, especially if you plan to keep the vehicle for several years.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.99% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA makes sense if you want a well-liked compact SUV and you can take advantage of the softer pricing in today’s market. If your priority is stretching your budget further, it’s worth comparing nearby years and focusing on the best-priced examples rather than paying extra for a less competitive listing.
