What is the 2018 Mercedes-Benz CLA's resale value?

The current average of $17,296 CAD sits slightly below last year's $20,603 CAD.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price, you reduce the risk of taking a bigger depreciation hit later. The current pricing also suggests that future sellers may need to be competitive to stand out, especially if similar cars remain plentiful.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Mercedes-Benz CLA or consider a different year?

Choose the 2018 if:

• 36.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.05% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of value and current market leverage, the 2018 is the one to focus on. It gives you a lower average price than the prior year while still delivering the premium styling and comfort that define the CLA. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also use the softer pricing to negotiate aggressively and target the best-equipped example within your budget.
