Is the 2018 INFINITI QX60 a good car?

Generally — the 2018 INFINITI QX60 earns a 4.3/5 user rating, which points to solid owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its spacious and comfortable interior, and many also like the luxury feel and value for the price. The main trade-offs are third-row legroom and limited cargo space, so it tends to suit families that prioritise comfort over maximum utility. With 20.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 INFINITI QX60 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.3/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback suggests you can count on it for comfortable everyday use, especially if you value a roomy cabin and a premium feel. That said, the comments about missing features and tighter third-row space suggest you should inspect the specific vehicle carefully to make sure it fits your needs. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is ending up with a well-kept example that still doesn’t match your family’s space or feature expectations.

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to compare listings and wait for the right one.

What is the 2018 INFINITI QX60's resale value?

The current average of $17,022 CAD sits slightly below last year's $19,746 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you as a buyer today, but it also means a future seller may face more competition if the market stays well supplied. The current average is still within the model’s year-round range, which suggests the market has settled rather than collapsed. If you buy carefully now, you may be better positioned to limit depreciation later.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.3/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 INFINITI QX60 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 20.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.80% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.3/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 is a sensible choice if you want a well-liked luxury SUV with a softer used price and enough inventory to shop around. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby year with a lower average price may be worth considering, but the 2018 stands out as the better pick when you want a balance of value, owner satisfaction, and current market availability.
