How much does the 2018 Ford Focus cost?

There are 73 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2018 Ford Focus a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Ford Focus earns a 4.57/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its great value, easy handling, and fuel economy. Many owners also appreciate the added features in newer versions, while the market still shows 30.1% of listings as good or great deals.

Is the 2018 Ford Focus reliable?

Owners rate it 4.57/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a car that many drivers find dependable and trouble-free in everyday use, with comments that suggest it can be a vehicle you feel comfortable counting on over time. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that satisfaction can be affected by the model’s known space and winter-driving compromises, so it is worth checking whether those trade-offs fit your needs.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Ford Focus?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 30.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 73 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.02% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $11,326 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Ford Focus's resale value?

The current average of $11,326 CAD sits slightly below last year's $13,650 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the car easier to buy now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you purchase at the right price, you may reduce the risk of taking a bigger depreciation hit later. Strong value positioning can help keep demand steady, especially when shoppers are comparing similar used compact cars.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.57/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Ford Focus or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 30.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.02% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.57/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 is a sensible choice if you want a used Focus with strong owner satisfaction and a softer price environment. If your priority is getting the lowest possible entry price, you may want to compare nearby years as well, but the 2018 stands out as the better pick when you want a balance of value, demand, and market availability.
