Is the 2018 Dodge Durango reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free experience for many shoppers, especially those who value the Durango’s long-term usefulness for family duty. That said, used buyers should still pay close attention to maintenance records and inspection results, since ownership risk can rise if a vehicle has been poorly maintained.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Dodge Durango?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 20.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

If you find a listing below $20,647 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Dodge Durango's resale value?

The current average of $21,828 CAD sits slightly below last year's $26,426 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Durango has become more accessible for buyers, but it also means a future seller may need to price competitively to stand out. The current market still shows meaningful demand, especially for a three-row SUV with strong family appeal and a distinctive character. If you buy well now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Dodge Durango or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 20.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.40% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 is a sensible choice if you want a well-liked Durango at a softer price point than it carried a year ago. If you are especially price-sensitive, it is worth comparing nearby years as well, but the 2018 offers a strong mix of value, owner approval, and available inventory.
