Is the 2018 Audi Q7 a good car?

Yes — the 4.9/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Is the 2018 Audi Q7 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that many drivers find dependable and trouble-free over time, especially when it comes to everyday family use and premium comfort. That kind of long-term confidence matters if you want a used luxury SUV you can count on. For used buyers, the main ownership risk is making sure the specific vehicle has been maintained carefully, since a premium SUV can become costly if deferred maintenance has piled up.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Audi Q7?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 191 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.32% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $21,514 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Audi Q7's resale value?

The current average of $21,662 CAD sits slightly below last year's $26,520 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Q7 has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can be helpful if you are buying now and planning to own it for a few years. For a future seller, the softer market means resale gains may be limited unless your vehicle stands out for condition, mileage, and equipment. Even so, the current pricing can support stronger value retention from this point forward if demand stays steady.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Audi Q7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.32% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2018 is a strong choice if you want a well-liked, three-row luxury SUV at a softer used price, especially if you value the combination of space, technology, and premium feel. If you are more price-sensitive, you can also keep nearby model years on your shortlist and compare the best-equipped, best-priced examples before deciding.
