Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Audi A4?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be patient and still find a solid example.

• Inventory: There are 162 listings available.

If you find a listing below $17,824 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Audi A4's resale value?

The current average of $18,184 CAD sits slightly below last year's $21,602 CAD.

That softer pricing means future sellers may not see the same return they would have a year ago, especially if market conditions stay similar. If you buy now, you may be entering at a more favourable point than recent shoppers did. Well-kept examples should still hold appeal because the model has strong owner satisfaction and broad used-market interest. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Audi A4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.82% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 Audi A4 is a strong choice if you want a well-liked luxury sedan with solid market pricing and enough inventory to compare options. If your priority is value, this year looks especially appealing because prices have eased and deal availability is decent. If you are more price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby model years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2018’s strong owner satisfaction.
