This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Inventory: There are 167 listings available.

What is the 2018 Acura RDX's resale value?

The current average of $20,338 CAD sits slightly below last year's $22,892 CAD.

That price movement suggests the model has become more accessible for buyers, but it also means a future seller may need to price competitively to stand out. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.86/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Acura RDX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 28.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.16% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.86/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a comfortable, practical luxury SUV with strong owner approval and a softer used-market price, the 2018 is the year to focus on. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby model years to see whether a similar RDX offers a lower entry point, but the 2018 stands out as a balanced choice for value and satisfaction.
