Is the 2017 Nissan Frontier reliable?

Owners rate it 4.1/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a durable, reliable, and trouble-free ownership experience, with several drivers saying it feels dependable and a truck they can count on. That kind of feedback matters if you want a used pickup that should hold up well over time. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is making sure the specific truck you choose has been cared for properly, since condition matters more as these vehicles age.

• Deal availability: 51.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 33 listings available.

What is the 2017 Nissan Frontier's resale value?

The current average of $19,771 CAD sits slightly below last year's $22,264 CAD.

That softer pricing can work in your favour if you're buying now, but it also means future resale upside may be more limited unless the truck is especially clean and well maintained. If you plan to sell later, a lower entry price today can help reduce the amount of value you stand to lose over time. Strong condition and a good service history should matter more than ever in supporting your eventual resale position.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.1/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
