Why it stands out
The 2017 Mazda CX-3 stands out as a small crossover that leans into Mazda’s usual strengths: style, a fun driving character, and a premium-feeling cabin for the class. It also earned strong safety credentials, and the available information describes it as a reliable used choice with prices that generally line up with similarly sized competitors. For buyers who want a crossover rather than a sedan or hatchback, that combination makes it appealing.
At the same time, the 2017 Mazda CX-3 is not the roomiest option. The available guidance points to a cramped back seat and limited cargo space, so it is best suited to shoppers who value driving enjoyment and a polished interior more than outright practicality. That trade-off is central to its appeal: it feels more upscale and engaging than many small crossovers, but it asks buyers to accept some compromises in rear-seat and load-carrying space.

Its a good size car for a small family. If you are on the taller size. This car may not be good. The leg room in the back is not that spacious and the truck space is a bit lacking. But its a good car with many nice features.

Great ride. Smooth gear transitions. Comfortable. Nice lines; good looking. Great looking rims. I wish that the vehicle had power seats (surprising, given it has heated seats). I also miss the center console storage, and that the armrest in the center covers over the cup holders (awkward). The media dial takes some getting used to. Good sound system. Tricky blind spots, but the blind spot alert is a good assist. The trunk is very small, and it is not a power-open trunk. Yes: I would recommend this car. However, my next vehicle will be bigger, like the Mazda CX-5. Love the Mazda make. I’m happy.
