Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Ford Transit Cargo?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so it makes sense to shop carefully and compare listings.

• Deal availability: 24.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 160 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.98% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $19,719 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Ford Transit Cargo's resale value?

The current average of $20,451 CAD sits slightly below last year's $23,502 CAD.

That softer pricing can make the model more attractive to you as a buyer now, but it also means a future seller may need to price more competitively to stand out. If the market stays at this level, resale values may remain under pressure compared with last year’s peak. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Ford Transit Cargo or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 24.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.98% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current pricing and buyer confidence, the 2017 is a sensible place to start. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the lowest-priced listings first.
