Why it stands out
The 2017 BMW X5 stands out as a luxury SUV that still puts driving enjoyment at the centre of the experience. BMW built it on a rear-wheel drive platform and equipped it with inline-six or V8 engines, while xDrive all-wheel drive was standard in Canada. It was also not intended for serious off-road use, with moderately challenging trails described as the limit. The spacious interior and well-crafted cabin offer a luxurious experience for passengers. The X5s practicality is satisfying, with an enormous cargo space and ample interior storage. Advanced technology and abundant comfort features further enhance its all-around capabilities. Overall, as a top-tier luxury SUV, the X5 stands out among its class and meets all my expectations for an excellent SUV. It remarkably combines driving pleasure, comfort, and practicality, delivering an outstanding overall experience. The X5 is undoubtedly a top choice in its segment, worthy of consideration.
